A chronological record of agency creative-tech and innovation work, roughly 2013 to early 2018. Some of it won awards, some was very of-its-time, all of it taught me something. Honest as I can be.

Since 2018 I've run Chaptech, a small independent consultancy. That work is long-form, lives behind login walls and NDAs, and doesn't lend itself to neat case studies — so it isn't here.

  4. 2017 Walking Dead Survival Guide Now TV · WCRS · Creative A six-part comedy survival guide for the zombie apocalypse, fronted by Joe Wilkinson, made to launch Now TV as the UK home of The Walking Dead.
  5. 2016 Alarm Buddy Fire Kills (HM Government) · Engine · Creative Technologist A companion app to the Unsung Heroes campaign — an iBeacon and smartphone pairing that nudges you to test your smoke alarm, the moment you walk past it.
  6. 2016 Born Free Tank Free Born Free Foundation · WCRS · Creative Technologist A digital and broadcast campaign for Born Free, raising awareness of marine animal welfare in captivity.
  7. 2016 EON No Problem Too Small EON · DF LDN · Creative A social campaign juxtaposing common EON customer-service problems with miniature models, encouraging customers to ask questions on Facebook no matter how big or small.
  8. 2016 Now TV Luckyman Now TV · WCRS · Creative Technologist An interactive promotional experience for Now TV — playful, lightly absurd, and built to make people pause for thirty seconds longer than they meant to.
  9. 2016 Unsung Heroes Fire Kills (HM Government) · Engine · Creative Reframing smoke alarms as the unsung heroes they really are — a print, radio and OOH campaign for HM Government Fire Kills, pitched against several big agencies and won.

  11. 2015 Amazon My-Style-A-Scope Amazon Fashion · DF LDN · Creative Technologist An audio-reactive kaleidoscope rendered live in HTML5 canvas from a DSLR feed — an experiential art installation built in four days for Amazon Fashion's EU launch party.

  13. 2015 Samaritans Radar Samaritans · DF LDN · Creative Technologist A Twitter app that monitored your friends' tweets and discreetly alerted you if it spotted anyone who might be struggling to cope. Award-winning, controversial, and shut down after seven days.
  14. 2014 Sky Shoot The Movie Sky · DF LDN (Jam) · Creative Technologist A live-on-Twitter Arduino-powered DVD launcher that fired films at targets across a London studio for one action-fuelled day, in promotion of Sky's Buy & Keep service.
  15. 2013 Christmas Twerkey Self-initiated · DF LDN (Jam) · Creative Technologist A festive WebSocket game that pairs your phone with your laptop and lets you twerk a turkey to the beat — born in 2013, the year twerking went mainstream.
